My Impossible Quest’s List

I’ve created a bucket list since my high school graduation day. Although, for its first few years I found my list fell victim to Someday Syndrome.

Despite having a fledged out list of what to do in life, I saw it constantly grew with very little of it done. A lot of Bucket List holders have this problem because they think of a Bucket List as a To-Do List with an undefined time. We end up thinking we’ll do it someday in the future, preventing us from taking action now.

To fix this, I decided to transform my Bucket List using concepts of Joel Runyon’s Impossible List, and Steve Kamb’s, Epic Quest. The Impossible List is NOT a Bucket List, it’s instead an ever-evolving List of experiences and challenges you gradually build on. An Epic Quest is a way for you to take your Bucket List items and gamify them by leveling yourself up with each accomplishment.

I call this my Impossible Quests List. Each Quest is categorized into its own classes. Like any Role-Playing Game, certain quests can only be completed once finishing up others. These Quests will demand me to push my mind and body, and help level me up with each accomplishment.

I’m posting this as a reminder to myself on where I want to go in life to make sure I’m working on gaining more personally invaluable skillsets and experiences. To see my more recent list of Accomplishments you can view my Stats Page that tracks my level-up progress.
