Ripping a phonebook in half has always been held as one of those impressive strongman feats. If you ever held a phone book, the thickness alone can show you why that is.
I set out to learn how to rip a phonebook in half myself. I felt it would be a testament to grand strength, but in reality, it didn’t require much strength at all. Turns out, there is a technique to it. The more refined your technique is, the less strength it’ll require. As long as you’re able to rip a piece of construction paper in half, you can manage to rip a phonebook in a half with proper technique.
